CN Mar NEV-PV Retail Sales Drop 21% YoY But Rise 69% MoM: CPCA

In March alone, the retail sales of new energy passenger vehicles (NEV-PVs) totaled 784,000 units in China, down 21% YoY but up 69% MoM, according to preliminary statistics based on data released by the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA). The YTD retail sales have declined by 24% YoY to 1.844 million units.
Meanwhile, the wholesale volume of new energy vehicles by China's passenger car makers amounted to 1.126 million units that month, flat YoY but up 56% MoM. The YTD wholesale volume slipped by 5% YoY to 2.716 million units.
